Andrea Conarro portrait image

Andrea Conarro lives in Dahlonega, Georgia, with her husband and four children and the family cat named Peter Pan. Her children range in age from college to elementary school, which gives her a broad perspective in her work.

When not working with families and children, Andrea travels; tries new recipes (especially soups and one-pot meals); paints gourds and tries to learn new crafts; tends the garden; goes to yoga; and reads books. She is currently trying to read LESS of the daily news and instead focus on peace and justice more locally and in her work.

Andrea has been a volunteer on the Board with the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina; in her 8 years of service on the Board of the Lumpkin County Education Foundation in Lumpkin County, Georgia; as a mentor through Family Connections in Lumpkin County, Georgia.

Andrea started her legal career as an assistant public defender in New York City in 2004. She moved back to her home state of Georgia in 2007, and in 2010 opened her solo legal practice. She has specialized in family law, probate, juvenile law, mediation of domestic cases, and basic estate planning.

In 2025, Andrea began to narrow the scope of her practice as well as the number of cases she takes. The Law Office of Andrea Conarro is now more of a boutique law firm, choosing to engage almost exclusively Guardian Ad Litem work for children in custody cases, or sometimes for adults in Probate cases.

Please inquire if you wish to know whether the firm is open to taking your case, with the understanding that Andrea works on only limited matters at this time. If your matter is a simple Will, or a truly uncontested divorce, it may be considered for acceptance. Parenting coordinator cases may also be considered for acceptance.

Otherwise, the present focus for Andrea Conarro is on her work as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for families who need the benefit of a deeper review of custody. Andrea takes a select number of GAL matters only, as the work is intensive and deserves full attention.
